Jessica Rhee
Jessica Rhee, MD, MS is a board-certified medical oncologist. Her career has focused on treatingwomen with breast cancer and those at high risk. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. This was followed by internal medicine residency and hematology- oncology fellowship at the University of California Irvine. Prior to medical school, she received her master’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Chicago. She has
been a practicing breast medical oncologist initially in private practice settings then transitioned to academic medicine. She was Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Hematology Oncology at UC Irvine where she helped to build and manage a successful satellite hematology/oncology outpatient clinic and infusion center to bring the best of academic medicine in a unique community setting. Then, her family relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii where she was Associate Professor of oncology and Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Office at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center. Jessica’s family moved to Las Vegas in 2020 due to her husband’s business. In addition to her
oncology career, she has been an avid and committed volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation since 2011 in California and then Hawaii. She served in multiple roles including Board Member, Chair of the Grants Committee, and Chair of the 2017 Pink Tie Ball fundraising gala. She currently volunteers at the Shade Tree. She joined CCMSA in November 2022 and is excited to serve on the Board as 2 nd VP of Luncheons. She enjoys traveling with her
husband of 31 years and their five children, reading, and playing tennis.
